I have no idea why the 32-bit doesn't work with Studio One, sorry, my assumption was that this should always work whatever the host and bit type but I was clearly wrong it seems.

I am attempting to use Mausynth and have been having nothing but problems getting Ableton to make it appear in my plugins. I have downloaded all the versions of the synth 32 and 64 bit. I've downloaded both versions of the C++ for both 32 bit and 64 bit. I renamed all the .dll files MauSynth x64.dll and MauSynth x32.dll. When I scanned for the vst's in Ableton, Ableton recognized that I had the 32bit version and indicated in the bottom left that it was in there, but no where to be found in the plugin list. Any ideas from anyone out there what could be still causing this problem? I really want this vst.

Disregard the last post ^^, I was finally able to get Mausynth to work in ableton after making sure I had the c++ file downloaded and deleted the vst and reinstalled it about three times. Somehow I think ableton black listed the vst after I initially downloaded it due to me not having the c++ file and then needed to refresh the plugin cache. All is well now and it works great, although very heavy on the cpu usage without me using my external audio interface.

32 bit version working in Jeskola Buzz
The routing knobs in the middle of the synth are somewhat confusing at first, but I think I get the idea now.

Renaming the .dll files will make mausynth not work.
Name them exactly as you will find them on the mausynth site and put them in your vst folder.

Hello guys,
I'm again actively developing MauSynth 2!
Here's a demo of the ladder filter with mid resonance setting, compared to the real deal:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/139 ... rdware.mp3
The first played note is always MauSynth, the latter is the hardware analog synth.
I can achieve > 20 note polyphony with my 2012 iMac i5. With some other modeling plugins I can barely achieve 2 voices...

version 2 ? thank you!!!
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

MauSynth 1 wasn't based on any real synth. Version 2.0 will have both original and modeled modules.chk071 wrote:What hardware is Mausynth modelled after?
