One-Synth-Challenge 43: DUNE BE - Submissions and gossip

I've actually started a few tracks this month. Dune is such a fun synth that it just kind of happened. So here's the first that is more or less ready.

I made another one, finished just now... few hours after work...

angelremington - Sunshine,
composed in few hours after work today - for KVR OSC using only Dune BE free synthesizer.

All work done in Reaper 4.26
Dune = 16 tracks
Effects mostly standard reaper (EQ, comp, delay) plus freeware: KR reverb, limiter No.6, filterbank V3.

Mostly used stock presets from Dune, except for drums used my own and one or two from Jasinski - Thank You.

Tempo 128bpm, Key C-minor, progression Cm, Ab, Fm, Gm hope you like it

It's space music with a new age feel, so if you fall asleep listening to it, that's OK with me, honest!

I love this synth! FM? Plus waveshaping? Plus this cool mod matrix!? What more can I ask? The first patch I created was a cool evolving pad. I liked it so much, I couldn't resist recording some space music with it. You'll hear it solo in the last part of the song.

DUNE is a pretty great little synth, I have to admit; maybe a few more things I'd like it to do, but some of you (ahem Jasinski) figured out how to make some really awesome and realistic sounds with it (no, I didn't even download the pack... making the presets is half the fun! but it's wonderful that you provided it for people).

I really like a lot of the entries this month, great work guys. It's going to be really hard to pick 5 from probably over 40 tracks this month! I'm not sure how you guys come up with so... frikkin'... many!... I have barely enough free time for one! I toyed with the jumping on the Frank Herbert bandwagon, but in the end didn't. Anyway, check it out:

Sa Nyu Wa (Home of the Eagle)

Sa Nyu Wa is the eagle point in Grand Canyon West Rim where they have made the Skywalk. I visited GC last year, amazing place. If you see the picture the mountain is shaped like an Eagle. Hope you enjoy the track.

Thanks you Jasinski - I have used self-tweaked version of your hat and snare preset.
Dune BE is an amazing plugin. It's very CPU friendly. I didn't have to bounce any track until I was almost finished with composition. I bounced the tracks only during mixing as it started stuttering when I started adding loads of effects.

DAW - Cockos Reaper v4.26

21 instances of Dune CM

FX - Rough Rider for drum bus (free plugin), GComp for snare (free plugin), ThrillseekerLA (free plugin) and ReaComp (free with Reaper) for compresion few tracks, ReaEQ for corection (free with Reaper). NastyDLAmkII for delay send and EpicVerb for reverb send, both plugins are free. DensitymkIII and LoudMax for master channel, also free.

DUNE is incredible CPU friendly. I can't believe that I have 53 plugins with 21 instances of DUNE and only have ~45% CPU usage on Core i3 350M (mobile procesor for notebooks, worse than normal PC).
