Surprisingly Caustic runs a lot better on that, than on my Asus Transformer, where it's a glitch fest with lag.

Caustic is like an advanced version of Rebirth or like an older version of FL Studio. Perfect on the go, barely notice having a 7" tablet in my bag :)
There's also a free version available for Windows. Its highly compatible with the Android version, because its technically his debugging copy. :) I plan to get a Caustic license shortly.

I also just set up a small Linuk partition on my laptop. Haven't used a Linux based OS in some 5 years (Hardy Heron and Mint Elyssa), but I'll try out this synth shortly. :)

Those new to linux audio may gain 1.3 to 3.7 years of life expectancy,
by using this preconfigured realtime studio. Reaper, new apps and vsts,
can be added as desired. It makes me laugh sometimes, the size, simplicity
and results compared to underutilized ghz, gigabytes, and inevitable
upgrade migraines provided by alternatives.

Remember to get the newest version of amSynth here: http://code.google.com/p/amsynth/

since the version in the repositories is still the older one. (I think Nick is about to do a final release, but until then, you have to use the link here to get the one with all the updates in it. :) ) --Or is it already included in getstudio 1337?

Attention linux users! :)
If you have the latest version of amSynth already installed, you can get my 5 soundbanks directly from my website here: http://www.amsynth.com/amsynth.html

The newest version has the GUI shown on this ^^ webpage.

Just download the banks and place them in the ~/.amsynth/banks folder (a hidden folder). Then they will appear in the Bank dropdown menu when you start amSynth.

I don't know if I'm a very good tweaker or not, but I do have lots of fun! :)

Here is a page with a series of audio demos of amSynth, some of the more interesting sounds, especially in the later banks.

I'm curious to hear anyone's thoughts!

Here's a half-minute jam using on amSynth and Calf effects (chorus and reverb). Just a short idea, and some sounds I liked:
