Indeed, 22 tracks and counting. Winning a nice synth from u-he might be the motivating ingredient here.. who knows! :hihi:

Yeah, probably a big factor - and the fact the synth has nice sounding presets and is easy to program. Difficult to spend limited time in a month to learn a complex beast like Alchemy and work 100 hour weeks. :(

Hi all,

Here comes my track for TrippleCheese. I loved instantly the natural and acoustical sound possiblities of this synth. But it took some days for me to decide to make some drums or not. Because I did not get good results first. Finally I was able do create some and so my arrangement changed a lot. Again amazing what can be done with a, only at first sight, simple synth - Thank you Urs!

Hi Bjulin,

Thank you very much!
As I said, it was tricky, because TrippleCheese reacts very sensitive at low values of decay and release. Even the smallest adjustment is audible as big change.

For the snare I added a short gated reverb with the FreeverToo, to add the body and decay-phase of the snare sound. I also used BitterSweet to add some transients for the attack to make it more punchy.

Kick, snare, hihats and crashes needed a lot of EQ.

If you want, I can give a download link to my presets. I could do this this evening after the office.

How the hell are we supposed to decide the winner this month given the quality of all these entries. I thought dune was a top notch competition, but this just may be a better month.
