Love this little plugin. A bit too heavy on the CPU though, and I have some issues when bouncing from Logic Pro X. Pops, crackles and distortion :/
Lets hope things get better when I get my 2010 MBP upgraded to the latest retina, should arrive any day now!

Aiyn Zahev sounds is back with a new bank, this time for Spire!
An incredible synth with punchy envelopes, rich filters and an extensive modulation system.
This 70 preset bank takes the great feature set and delivers the very best Aiyn Zahev quality.

Very nice work! I'm also enjoying Joseph Hollo's set:vega555 wrote:Aiyn Zahev sounds is back with a new bank, this time for Spire!

Anyone know if they will have a Christmas sale for Spire?
I did email Reveal Sound, haven't heard anything yet.
Great synth for sure...

SPIRE gets 100% rating in latest issue of Beat
They say: Ein beeindruckendes debüt, das direkt in der liga von Massive und Diva mitspeilt. Absolut empfehlenswert!"
I guess they mean that Spire already is playing on level with Massive and Diva ?

Spire sounds lovely, but I've been doing a sound to sound comparison with Massive and there are things you can do with Massive you just can't do in Spire. Also, I still get 99% CPU with some Spire presets, mostly chorded pads .
I am wondering if the LFO's would benefit from an on/off switch like the oscillators? (I know this helped CPU when I was making SE synths, but I know this is totally different, but possibly worth exploring.

At first, Spire sounds attractive. After the initial hyped "wow" you realize it sounds thin compared to others, even just listen to Aiyn Zahev's Spire demo compared to his Sylenth demos and it should be easy to spot. I think Aiyn should do a z3ta and BassLine-101 bank.

I think Spire sounds better than Sylenth overall. Not that Sylenth doesn't do some things better, but the same can be said for Spire. However I certainly wouldn't describe Spire as sounding thin.

i understand our need to compare things...we DO live in a competitive world. but for me, spire has become essential, ALONG WITH massive, zebra, etc. no one synth does it all, and it's great to have options. just my 2cents...

I don't know if I'd say it sounds thin, but I'd use the term clean. I can understand what you're saying. Sylenth1 is actually quite "warm" sounding in comparison. I find Spire to be quite modern sounding. I am happy it was released anyway, I feel it dominates it's own particular niche in the soft synth world.djanthonyw wrote:At first, Spire sounds attractive. +1 for me too. Spire is now one of my go-to's along with Massive. I also love having Sylenth1 around for more specific tasks which it excels at and naturally Zebra2 rocks as well.fisherKing wrote:i understand our need to compare things...we DO live in a competitive world. but for me, spire has become essential, ALONG WITH massive, zebra, etc. no one synth does it all, and it's great to have options. just my 2cents...
I could easily live with only Spire and Massive for all my tasks, especially if Spire gets lower CPU usage in future (as per the video posted previously).

Definitely excited for CPU optimization and the new patch browser
