Yes, the envelopes are overlapping. Also, there are now preset-shapes for the attack and release section to make envelope shaping a lot easier. ... dragging the nodes is perfect! There are tiny little differences, especially in kicks that you could really dial in... tiny as in down to PHASE correction type things. No kidding - layering synthesized kicks is a breeeeeeze. I loved that feature most of all. I always have smexoscope open and the things you can do in v3 are fantastic... a wee kink in the tone envelope solves a lot of problems.
