For the records that comment of mine was done about the demo without FXs. The FX demos were added later (like alraedy mentioned in my reply to Kriminal....
No, I meant "Cheeky" as in "Cheeky bast*rd", as in "Agent Provocateur" as in:
Cheeky ... is a word used to describe someone who does something or says something sort of disrespectful and sometimes rude, but says it in a cunning way.
As in...

Just found this KVR announcement of OBXD:
http://www.kvraudio.com/news/datsounds- ... ob-x-25047

There also seems to be an OBXD website now:
https://obxd.wordpress.com/

Last but not least OBXD is finally added to the KVR database:
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/obxd--- ... -datsounds

I just added the current patches collection (published yesterday) to the database:
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/obxd--- ... /downloads

I agree. And I agree also about the citation of TAL-Chorus-LX as one of the best effects ever made (I also use very often a slight addition of TAL-Filter-II). For me TAL-Chorus-LX remains by far the best free chorus ever made, in the same league as many payware choruses.

And of course a reverb is generally a go-to effect for almost all the tunes, bringing space to each music or to put in front an instrument in a mix.

I'm just so deeply impressed by the quality of OBXD without any effect, thinking in myself that it could really be possible (a challenge, of course, but certainly possible) to create a whole album with nothing else than OBXD.

Thanks for this and for thanks especially for making it Open Source!

If you're interested I (very quickly) compiled in on OSX for AU and VST2

http://www.olilarkin.co.uk/downloads/ob ... x-v0.1.zip

I had to do a few tweaks to get it to compile

https://github.com/olilarkin/Obxd

that OSX version should be considered mega-alpha!

Just added a comment to the website and downloaded the latest version there.
The manual could be found there too (and also in the OBXd zip file) besides downloads for the source code of OBXD.

The new ZIP file for OBXD alraedy seems to contain the latest patches collection (which i also sent to 2DaT by PM) in a new folder called "Presets".

The DLL version seems to be the last one published around 10 days ago. As DaT already mentioned he is working on his own patches.

yes thanks for the OSX! Just wondering if we can use the presets and how...

Ingo, I can't import the version of my bank you put in the root of the latest archive into Reaper on OSX. It says it's for "a newer version", but the last rev3a of my bank in the Breeze folder loads fine in the current OS X version... FYI!

the presets are .fxp so you can load them in inside a VST2 host. I changed the plug id, which could be an issue. 2Dat had left it as the JUCE default. When i have a bit of time i'll see if i can convert the presets to .aupreset for the audiounit version.

No clue about the patches in OSX. Have never owned a Mac myself so i could not check this myself (and also no real idea how to fix it). Also Tobybear MiniHost that i used to sort the patches/banks is not available for Mac.

FWIW each sound designers folder includes a sub-folder called "Original" with the originally submitted banks and single patches.

There are also single patch files for all patches in various folders (sound designer folders, the "all single patches patches" folder and in the sub folder at the "sorted by category" folder.

Did you notice any problem with the Windows version and the patches too? Did not notice problems here.

Nope. It's fine on Windows.
