Yup, the 'D' doesn't fit.
A striped GUI? Please be reasonable.

For those of us who remember it, the OBX-a was striped (and very classy too)

I may very well end up using the non-glare version.

Actually, the stripes started with the OB8, and by the time of the OB-Xa, there was a complete line of products that could interconnect (the synth, a sequencer and a drum machine, if I'm not mistaken) that all share the same look.Maomoondog wrote:layzer wrote:CrazyLittleSomething wrote:Yup, the 'D' doesn't fit.

Hmmm... No, I don't remember a monitor. This was still before MIDI, and the first musical instrument I saw with a monitor was the Fairlight.CrazyLittleSomething wrote:Yeah, and it had a monitor, right?

OBX-a / DMX / DSX That combination was the staple kit for side one of Mike Oldfield's Crises album.
No monitors, but poor studio lights / bad eyes could still pose a problem, but for the sounds the OBX-a was capable of certainly made up for it

I like the GUI a lot. Maybe a simpler version for those with eye conditions though?
