It looks like an instant dubstep machine which is fine by me. The sooner everyone gets sick of this stuff and moves on, the better.

Hardly a 'canned' instrument as some tend to think... This video shows the infinite possibilities... Sorry, don't intend to sound like an Izotope Rep (I am not)..
But, will like to see the 'full' display issue addressed... And will be nice to see a 'probability' feature added for the tracks...

A groove quantize option can be interesting also.. (import own groove)

:tu:

Not trying to be rude but it does sound like you're underestimating the size of infinity by a bit. :)

It just seems like this:

I'd be more impressed if BT collaborated on a synth with Izotope....

I like the bit where he's like "listen, vocal formants, you can make it talk", then you just hear this thin squeaking sound.

I think tieing it to dubstep is very incorrect.

It's capable of providing some very interesting and varied beats/loops. You need to look outside of the presets and do some sample digging in your collection.

I still stand by my initial post on first look gut reaction...however, this does offer something that is usable and interesting. Just not for me for the money.

Potential not yet reached and to be honest - if they expect the expansion packs range to expand and be their bread and butter, I see this plugin dropping to sub $99 very quickly.

before i'm going to install the demo, anybody know if it's possible to load custom waveforms or does this part solely rely on the extensions?

Yes, you can load your own waveforms, at least for the sampler part. Not sure about the wavetable part.

Very low division counts in the micro editor in BreakTweaker can be quite handy for sending sounds off beat when coupled with the fade controls.

Nice work on the demo, sounds very good. This plugin needs some more work I've decided (personally) individual outs or internal sidechain/gate would be great.

it's a fecking great plugin imo.

although you can't use your own wavetables with the modulation feature.and yes i don't like it to be solely dependent on the librarys. :x

come on Izotope!

on the other hand i was able to easily tweak some wavetables to my liking so it's all relative.
...and it is also possible to tweak the sounds to not only get that distinct dubstep yell but to create personal waveforms.that's very nice.

It's growing on me, in a weird way. In minimal doses it's got some mojo. I still wish I knew what Izotope was planning with this re: fixing the obvious and improvements and expanding into much-needed features that would make this much more usable.
