That's what I was thinking when I heard it too.

If it is a microrhythmic "drum machine," I wonder if it will let you load your own samples?

:)
Or, also, if it will offer (drum) synthesis as well. Both would be cool.

Have they announced any updates for Iris?
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Akai VIP = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

I hope so. They need to update this.
Massive, Serum. Diva, Repro-1, HIVE, Spire presets, Reason ReFills more! https://NewLoops.com

It will be soon.

And now the wait. I'm really hoping it's not just an effect, but that it's got drum synthesis built-in, sample importing, etc.

I think it will do drum synthesis and sample import.

I see the similarity.

I love glitch FSU plugs and am really interested in this one, but I sure as hell dont hope its a drumsample player with built in glitch effects. Some sort of synthesis and sample import would be nice, but it has to do realtime input processing as well...

no one checks izotopes site? Its already out and available for purchase:

Seems comprehensive. Thumbs up.

Wow just wow!!!

Looks pretty cool. Can't wait to Microedit those Isorhythms. Too bad it doesn't support Cyberflamming of Terratransients. But, hopefully, they'll release a Corny Terminology expansion pack for it.

Seriously, though, it does look pretty cool and will probably be a big seller.
