On sale now, worth getting?

Post

Don't have it. But i would say that there are better alternatives in vst land.

Post

Don't know what the sale price is, but it's a great synth. I got it back when I upgraded to Cubase 6.5. If you look through some older threads you will find lots of respect from users that have many alternatives, myself included. I tend to reach for Zebra, Spire, Omnisphere, or one of the current faves. I keep forgetting I have this. Thanks for reminding me. If it's under the regular price ($49.95) it's very much worth it.

I love Retrologue....it's very....Retro. :hihi: But having said that I have not installed it on my new system because of the eLicenser. I still have it on my old system. So if you don't mind the eicesner software then yes it's worth the price.......in my opinion of course. :)

And which better alternatives in the same price range do you know or have you got?

Is that also on sale now, I can't find it on the page listing the VD sale?:

When I put Retrologue in my bag, and apply the "VALENTINESDAY14" code nothing happens?

I'd definitely recommend it as a nice compliment to other VA synths you already own. Sounds good, nice modulation options, doesn't kill your CPU. Great deal for the price.

In case anyone's interested, I've got 2 Retrologue patch banks available with 100 sounds in each: http://xenossoundworks.com/retrologue.html
VST PRESETS ---> http://xenossoundworks.com
Bazille, NI Massive, Z3ta, PPG Wave, TAL-J8, RePro, Diva, Spire and more

But where is the sale?

Can somebody post the link to the activation code on sale.

Can only find the VST version here?:

I also popped Retrologue in the basket and gave the 50% off code a spin...just in case. No cigar :(
So I downloaded the Halion Sonic 2 trial only to find you need the USB eLicencer to run it. :x

This post was nonsense. :)

I have the eLicencer, where does it say you can use that with Halion?
Everything I've read points to some plugins e.g. Retrologue/Padshop can use soft licencer but Halion needs hardware.

Monark is far superior to Retrologue. I own them both. Monark has a far stronger sound, better filters, better articulation.

Monark is also Monophonic whereas Retrologue is Polyphonic.......
