Well I have some problems with the snare, sometimes it decays slower than normal(is this normal?).

About 17 instances used(I don't remmenber exactly how many)

Tracked in OpenModPlugTracker.

Used FXs : Melda compressor & limiter, ambience and GvstMultiband compressor.

Just submited my track to the soundcloud group. Here a direct link:
https://soundcloud.com/oorlab/one-synth ... nr-61-obdx

I used Windows7, Cubase SL2 and audacity for rougn 'mastering'.
8 instances of the OBDX synth were used. Had to bounce 7 tracks as the well known crackling sounds announced CPU strain. That said, this VST synth worked fine, intuitively clear and straightforward.
I used Azur patchbanks for the OBDX.

For the mix I used Mverb reverb and a native cubase delay.
An 7 minute mix with spoken word can bea heard at hearme.at :

Hi.

I need a quick rule clarification regarding convolution reverbs...

I imagine that since reverberate LE is listed on the recommended plugin page (and that freeverb3 and many DAW reverbs are convolution-based), that it is okay to use them. My question is about the actual impulse responses that are allowed. Is it okay to use your own generated IRs for the contest? Obviously, I wouldn't be sampling a Bricasti or a Lexicon... just an old tascam rs-20. I would of course share the file with anyone who wanted it. Is this allowed?

Just taking a second to gripe. I cannot decide which track to enter...wish the rules allowed multiple entries.

I have a little problem : The rules say "All plugin effects like equalizers, delays etc, must either be inside the synth / DAW or external effects which must freeware and easily available to all."

The ONLY compressor that can made sidechain in Open Mod Plug is sidekick3 its no longer available(KVR says that), so its a bit difficult to find, but here http://sagamusix.de/en/vst-plugins/ is sidekick3(with permission of the author).

Can I use it?

PD: Siekick 3 is freeware, so I think I could use it...
