Hi, I am seriously considering an instant purchase of the ST3 update.

One big question: ST2 was the only plugin (of hundreds) that I could only use if I ran my DAW as admin (which I won't). Is this fixed in ST3?

(Sorry if this was already answered ...)

Yes, this has been taken care of in SampleTank 3. You will no longer need to run your DAW as admin.

Just one question
Will the price for the crossgrade from total bundle increase after st3 will be out?
Is the preorder a special introductory price or will it be maintained also later?

Total Studio Bundle qualifies for Upgrade, not Crossgrade, just to be clear. This will remain during the Introductory pricing upon release too. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?item_id=4109

The preorder is a very low and special pricing, from the link above you'll notice that the Introductory pricing will run for two months after release, then we will go to the final/full pricing. At that point I do not know about any future promotions related to SampleTank.

Instead of 'the link' everywhere could we please see some proof of imported SonikSynth, XT pack, etc sounds in ST3 before pre-ordering.

Can you assign drum Parts (snare, toms, kicks etc.) to independent channels? Not sure it can be done in V. 2.5...

I don't know what kind of proof you are looking for? They import into SampleTank 3, it is one of many functions of the application.
