If you do a search on fxpansion, you'll see that fxpansion geist special edition is at $50 and you can see fxpansion geist sampling virtual instruments at $250. Doesn't seem to be the full version or am I wrong?

I bought it from jrrshop at about 70 bucks, and that was a great deal. This, however... in the future when folks ask what no-brainer means, it will be this deal they use as an exampleLimboLoves wrote:http://www.fxpansion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7580138paradiddle wrote:If you do a search on fxpansion, you'll see that fxpansion geist special edition is at $50 and you can see fxpansion geist sampling virtual instruments at $250. I've been using the CM version of Guru for a few years now so thought this could be the time to upgrade... unfortunately I've yet to have a session last more than five minutes before Geist and Reaper both crash.
Just me? Not notoriously buggy is it?

Where do you buy fxpansion geist special edition ?
I can't see it on FXpansion's website
Gary, i use the CM version of Geist with Reaper without any crash so far. It is an excellent drum machine.

I'm running the full version of Geist in Reaper and have never had problems.
Geist (full) is also $84 at JRRshop until April 30, download license so no shipping fees. Could be cheaper for some people.

I'll wait for an offer in the KVR Market Place - I'm sure some people will sell it after their no-brainer purchase. I don't need it that urgently. As I've said, I always managed to make my drums in a drum group with different tracks & plugins...

Eeeexcellent. Make sure to at least skim the documentation because it's a bloody deep product. Learn the difference between saving and loading kits, engines and full presets. I recall FXP has some Youtube tutorials too.
