If it doesn't work with MIDI input, it seems to output MIDI, so it must be either an arpeggiator or a sequencer...

The scale looks logarithmic to me, so I'm going to guess some form of additive synthesizer with partials you adjust by changing the size of the blocks.

Could be useful, i still often use good ol PolyGrid when im fooling around with stuff in VSTHost since it doesnt have its own sequencer. (Which is a shame because as a modular host it really rocks.)

Finally a vst ( software actually ) replacement for what home keyboards does for ages..
multitrack ( + intelligent) pattern sequencer that you can create save and re call your compositions easily
load composition assign your sounds then feed with the chords and get instantly - ready to use back track (s) .
