I don't see the use of it?
But I think in the Art collection, there's a good emulation, check the soundcloud demo.
(btw were you guys able to download those banks because somebody said he couldn't?)

@godly: if u want you can rename my patches and integrate in your bank.
Realistic acoustic pianos can only be made with sampling or physical modelling.
Not possible.Maomoondog wrote:I would love to hear a decent Piano emulation. I have tried and failed to create one.

That would seem to be true, but it's not! Defining "realistic" may differ, but Synth1 IS capable of creating a variety of very nice and "believable" piano sounds! A piano in one of Hakey's wonderful banks is a good place to start!Chris-S wrote:Not possible.Maomoondog wrote:I would love to hear a decent Piano emulation. I have tried and failed to create one.

And, if you haven't already, get Bigtones Synth 1 banks too:

For the related thread:

To quote from the thread:
"ok, jarre-fans,
took a while but here you go... tried to recreate the equinoxe8 pe2000 pad from jarre... didn't really nail it, as he layered some other synths with it, as well as he fired it through the electric mistress... but yeah, somewhat close, listen for your self (forgive the crappy interpretation ):

Good stuff!

Had a bit of time between projects, so I played with Synth1 some more. (You'd think I'd find something non-music-related for relaxation, but noooo...)
http://soundcloud.com/vivolator/tiny-in-japan
I'll get these uploaded when I get some more patches together, but I have to sort through the ones people have already done, so there aren't any redundancies or duplicates (Which I think I might have a couple of already, so that's something else I have to deal with now, too. Rats! )
