Gearing up - a family cooperation this time - my daughter will do some composing work and I will get on with sound design, mixing, sound mapping etc ....

Have we had coop like this before?

Okay, I know I'm only 20 minutes in, but these sliders are making me scratch my head. They're upside down???! I can get around FM8 pretty well, but this baby is cryptic.

Cool! Ironically, I just spent a couple weeks programming a Yamaha DX27, and I thought I'd take a break from FM syntheis, but this will be a lot of fun! In fact, here's a gi-normous blog I wrote just last week in tribute to our proud FM heritage!

I LOVE THIS SYNTH, thank you god of virtual circuitry.. we offer our thanks by sacrificing our many hours of sleep, neglecting our familes, avoiding important errands, and eating/drinking on our computer keyboard to provide many OSC entries for your entertainment and ours.

And ... talking of FM, my DX-11 is sitting just next to me ... looking like new, and works great after changing the internal battery (they fail in time just like computer CMOS batts!). Got a genuine Yammy one via eBay - of course!

I had a DX-7 for a while, before I knew anything about anything. So much hardware has come and gone through my hands... I never knew how to use it.

Quesiton: does anyone know a free VST to send the MIDI CCs for those hidden parameters? I can't seem to get it working with REAPER's MIDI tools & Bitwig is off the plate for this month, as it doesn't load FXP/FXB (argh!)...

I found a few freeware tools but none of them seem to work for me. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Yes this would be very helpful!

I was thinking of doing a little MaxForLive patch, but that wold only help out Live Suite users....
