DAW: Cockos Reaper
Efficient, straightforward, affordable.

Synths: AAS Tassman 4, NI Reaktor 5, Camel Alchemy, RP Punch (drums)
Super desert island combo of synths capable of ridiculous range of sound.

Effects: DMG Equilibrium, Overloud VKFX, Acustica Nebula 3 Pro
Precise, clean edits or dirty analog coloring as required.

Dynamics: Cytomic The Glue, Waves C6 Multiband Compressor, PSP Vintage Warmer 2
Very good at fixing dynamics problems, may color a bit analog but I like that.

BFD3 and Tremor are rapidly supplanting Superior2/Punch for me these days.
DP is my host (no longer S1), and Metric Halo channel strip is on 95% of everything.

That didn't take long. :D

In this last month, I became a Yamaha Montage owner and it has become my top piece of gear. Most assuredly because it is the new kid in the room, but even more because it boots up in seventeen seconds! So it gets turned on for the quick ideas, practice or just noodling about. And the added bonus is I don't mind having to wait the extra two minutes for everything else to boot up now while I'm playing it either.

Still, when it comes to loading up the box for the two controllers in my rig; I find myself using NI Komplete Kontrol, which allows me to change plugins more efficiently; and the Blue Cat Patchwork for what I regularly combine in layers anyway (e.g. U-he Bazille/Diva).

Besides for the hardware, what I find I open and use in just about everything these days has been: Alchemy; Zebra; and Pianoteq 5 in their own tracks or layered via Patchwork and HALion 5; Kontakt 5 for more specialized layered instruments.

On my 'bedroom box' I run Maschine2/Komplete 9 (not ultimate) along with HALion 5 only with Cubase/Sonar as the current DAWs and I am considering to add my Finale/Aria-Garritan to it as well. (I don't run Cubase in my 'residential studio' box as of yet though. And I may soon find it no longer as useful to me as it once was back in the day.)

Effects wise, I seem to be using Aether and Guitar Rig 5 the most, but Nectar PS and Ozone get a fair amount too. Still kicking the idea around of whether or not to pick-up Valhalla Shimmer, but so far haven't really needed it. (Obvious GAS alert).

I'm finding some software to be superfluous and some I don't even bother installing after this last fresh install, so anything without the NFR may be coming up on the market soon. (e.g. Superior Drummer; Komplete Ultimate upgrades; Kaleidoscope)

And BTW, this thread is about using them, not just writing programs to sell for others to use them.
