What options are there? I was playing around with the demo of Galaxy X, and thought that since I prefer to do my own samples anyway I might play with these sounds... But for now the only convolution software I have is SIR free version, which has a huge delay. Seeing how basic the maths are, I would think somewhere there's a seriously under estimated freebie lurking, no?

Find a link for KeFir, low latency, you can change the length of the IR that you will hear, which can save on CPU.

Just realized this was in the instruments forum. Anyhow-I think another one is the Lepou stuff, who made some guitar effects, so it had to be low latency, and yes I think there is likely a convolution-only one, without the amp coloring.

Reaper's ReaVerb. Don't know if that's in the free ReaPlugs suite as well, but it can do all sorts of things. Normalize, width, oversample/anti-alias or something, it has a zero-latency switch. Can even create algo IRs and make sweeps to put through gear an de-convolve to IRs later, etc.
I don't work here, I just feed the trolls.
