I've no idea what's going on under the hood but the tech sounds interesting and the demos sound good. Looks like a potential game changer: http://www.native-instruments.com/en/pr ... d7-2323709
Or at least a great source of inspiration!

Yeah does look like a very similar concept! Can you create and perform full tracks with Arc5 or is it just one part?Numanoid wrote:Makes me think of the Arc5 synth by Archetype Instruments

No, Flesh contains much more. Looking at the page Flesh is a synth, which can also act as a groovebox, and a sampler. So much more than Arc5.musikmachine wrote:Yeah does look like a very similar concept! For those who haven't upgraded to Reaktor 6 yet: Can Reaktor Player 6 function alongside Reaktor 5

Well, R6 installs separately from R5, I have both on all of my machines. I don't know about player though, but I doubt that player (versoin 6) would overwrite a full version of R5.Numanoid wrote:For those who haven't upgraded to Reaktor 6 yet: Can Reaktor Player 6 function alongside Reaktor 5

The first thing what came to my mind was The Mouth.
Has the same idea of layering in bass/synth/vocoder/effects.
This is loop driven and has quite some more sonic options than the Mouth.
Nice to get a groove going but not to lay out a whole track like Tim is presenting it imho.

Does Tim Exile do all the Reaktor coding himself, or does he pass on his design to somebody in-house at NI to do the actual coding?

Wonder if it is Multi-touch capable?
Looks like it may be.
And as musikmachine asked above
"Although he's using drums i wonder how it would work with synth parts..."
Perhaps longer samples.

Well, sounds cool.................
Was just asking me in which of my songs I could have use of such sounds.
Non, I think.
NI has such kind of instruments already.
The mouth, and the finger.
What about updating and upgrading Absynth.
Making something more out of it.
Has the potential for a kind of Omnisphere synth.
No, just another little toy for nearly 100,- $.
I am sure you will get bored after an houre playing with it.
Yea, I know I am...
Just don´t listen to me:)

Have to agree what classic wrote. I see it exctacly the same way. No interest to put out 99€ for this. It's a funny toy but not more i think.
Good for the christmas freebie from NI?!
