Just to verify - I have "frozen" all 4 instances of Repro-1 and everything is OK with the file. I left it sitting for over an hour, and it's fine - no hanging, or "not responding".jbraner wrote:I *think* the UI is usually open when this happens. Urs, do you guys have any plans to implement a poly mode?
I know from some statements that the repro has features that cannot be used in poly mode but maybe its possible to disable all features when the repro plugin is in poly mode?

Why not Prophet 10? Hell, give that thing as much voices as your CPU can take.electro wrote:Thank God. I hope to see U-he Prophet 5.exmatproton wrote:Please, don't go there...nicogrubert wrote:Urs, do you guys have any plans to implement a poly mode?

LOL, hehe, I don't see a contradiction in doing something that sounds like a Prophet 5 but has more voices. DX-7 had 16 voices and no-one got puzzled as to why it wasn't called DX-16

The Arp 2600 would have cost a fortune if that was actually a thing.Urs wrote:LOL, hehe, I don't see a contradiction in doing something that sounds like a Prophet 5 but has more voices. DX-7 had 16 voices and no-one got puzzled as to why it wasn't called DX-16

Yeah, the naming conventions were a bit silly back then.
The DX-7 has 16 voices and 6 operators, but somehow has a 7 in its name. The JX-3P and JX-8P have 6 voices, while the JX-10 has 12 etc.
However, I like those futuristic sounding cryptic synth names.

The CS-5, CS-15, CS-15D, CS-30, CS-40 and so on have only one voice, though
The names don't mean all that much, they just sound cool.
