Love those slow LFO's on the OSC's, can rival Phonec for BOC style sounds :tu:
Numanoid how did you get this to work? I've got that exact set up but FL Studio wont pick it up. Any help would be hugely appreciated!
Make sure you have write permissions in the folder where the PG-8X.dll file lives. The plugin wants to create the PG-8X.ini file, and if it can't do that, it will report back to the host that it crashed at startup. Some hosts (e.g. reaper) put those plugins on a black list, and you really need to re-scan for new plugins after you fixed the permissions, in order for the host to pick it up.

Hi!

Sorry, I have a question about JX-8P patches: Does anyone have the 'real' factory bank in SysEx format? In this (http://www.synthzone.com/mschreier/html/files/syx.zip) file there is a folder with the supposed factory patches but the names and sounds aren't the same as in this (http://www.synthmania.com/jx-8p.htm) site. I'm interested mainly in the patch #28 'Stab Brass' (http://www.synthmania.com/Roland%20JX-8 ... 0Brass.mp3), used on Europe's 'The Final Countdown'...

Any help would be appreciated! :)

I don't own Pro Tools but doesn't it require AAX plugins not VSTi plugins ? Or does PT now load VSTi ? :?

Wow. I'm just now realizing how great that Stab Brass patch is. :hyper:

I was really enjoying this synth this morning, it has to be one of the best freebies of all time.

One question though: could a basic effects section be added, beyond chorus, tucked inside the settings maybe? I've gotten used to saving delay with synth patches, it is often so much of the sound that I would rather not make it host dependent as part of a chain. Really, delay would be enough for me.
