We are intensively working in another T-C-M II update (and T-C-M III), in the meantime we can share some new presets (sorry LMMS users, you'll have to wait for the final release, read footnote). https://www.facebook.com/cescato.musiktechnologie
We are also very happy because we have been testing T-C-M II in Bitwig 2 and we can confirm that they fit perfectly!
The forthcoming update includes the following:
- Added 'KBD' and 'SEQ' set buttons to speed up some basic routings.
- Fixed noise clicks when selecting 'SH Mixer' from Osc FM sources.
- Fixed Oscillator 2 'Sync' not working for triangle shape.
- Fixed 'Portamento'/'Output Lag' controls not matching displayed time.
- Improved the reading of values by adding dark blue background displays.
- Increased 'Portamento' time to 2 seconds, as it is in the ARP 2600.
LMMS footnote:
Unfortunately we have detected that the 'Open VST-plugin preset' function in LMMS does not work with T-C-M. Although bank import seems to work, the values of many parameters are messed up in the process. On the other hand, importing an individual preset results directly in a crash. This is not a T-C-M failure, T-C-M does not have this issue in other hosts and besides, it's not the only VST plugin having this kind of problem in LMMS.

Thank you for this beautiful synth!
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Edited (Thanks for the alert, ENV1!)
We know that some users have had problems trying to load the latest T-C-M-II version into Hermann Seib's VSTHost. We also know that, like SAVIHost, VSTHost needs some cleaning from time to time. If you load a bank (fxb file), VSTHost will remember this action and will automatically load it on the next run. This could be troublesome if the bank file was altered or if T-C-M was updated in between. In such a situation it is possible that VSTHost can not even start. There are two ways to do the cleaning, if you don't need to keep your "VSTHost Performance" presets, simply delete the "#Intern.vsthost" file from the VSTHost "Data" folder for a fresh start. Otherwise, you must manually edit such text file to delete only the line that is causing the problem. To do so, you first need to know the FX number to which "TCM-II.dll" is assigned, for example, if you find a line like "FX3_File = C: \ VstPlugins \ TCM-II.dll", the FX number will be "FX3", then just delete the line that starts with "FX3_Bank" and save. (Warning: GUI update spoiler)

Thats real bad advice since this will destroy all your default Performances.CMT wrote:In such a situation it is possible that VSTHost can not even start, please delete the "#Intern.vsthost" file from the VSTHost "Data" folder to clean T-C-M old version data for a fresh start!
If you have a problem like you described then you either update the Bank file in the Bank-X folder (where X is a number) or you clear the path to the Bank by dragging #Intern.vsthost into Notepad and editing it accordingly. This will solve the problem just as well but without wiping out every default Performance you ever saved.
And if you have the problem with SAVIHost, do this:
- Open regedit
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Seib\<PluginName>
- Doubleclick the <PluginName> key to open it and select the subkey labeled 'Load'
- In the right panel doubleclick the 'FX_Bank' string and delete the path from it

Thinking about those users who want to collaborate with some patches, we finally decided to publish the version with which we are doing ours (internally we call it Release Candidate 3).

Hundreds of DL without problems, it's strange what happens with a few users (some bad AV / blocker?). It does not matter, yul, we are already PM you an alternative link.yul wrote:Hello I can't find how to obtain this synth I went to FB page as well but no indication other than needing to like their page. Is the latest installer 64 bit yet?

"Trans Computer Maschine" is a 32-bit plugin, we are really sorry if you have chosen to use a DAW without enough compatibility. If you use any of the following 64-bit hosts you would not have any problems (in all of them we have loaded and tested T-C-M troubleless):Echoes in the Attic wrote:Is the latest installer 64 bit yet?

Thank you but I don't think anyone would switch DAWs in order to use a single 32 plugin (Every other one I want is 64bit). DAWs are abandoning 32 bit compatibility more and more so that list will continue to shrink over time.CMT wrote:"Trans Computer Maschine" is a 32-bit plugin, we are really sorry if you have chosen to use a DAW without enough compatibility.
