As far as we know, apart from Steinberg-Yamaha, all the others that have been compatible from the beginning remain so. Luckily, not everyone in the world is lobbyng for planned obsolescence.

A quick update is on the go because we have detected an issue using n-Track Studio. This DAW sends certain MIDI controller data to the loaded virtual instruments by default. Since the numbers assigned to these controllers are also assigned to the MIDI control of some T-C-M parameters, the latter change each time n-Track Studio starts or stops. Since these CC numbers are also traditionally used in MIDI hardware for playback synchronization, we've decided to review the pre-assigned MIDI map to avoid any potential problems related to their use.

Well, the truth is that it has spread instead of shrinking. :)

After many tests we have updated our list of 64-bit "friendly software", capable of loading "T-C-M" and other virtual instruments available in 32-bit only. Unfortunately, users of Ableton, Presonus and MOTU products will still not be able to use 32 and 64-bit plug-ins simultaneously, so they must choose wisely before installation. On the other hand, starting with Cubase 9 and Nuendo 8, Steinberg only offers 64-bit versions without 32-bit VST support (compatibility for old projects, totally lost!).

What follows is the 2018 updated list of 64-bit "friendly software" capable of loading 32 and 64-bit VST instruments simultaneously:

- Acoustica Mixcraft 7 / 8
- Bitwig Studio 1 / 2
- Bremmers Audio Design MultitrackStudio 8.5
- Cakewalk by BandLab 24
- Cakewalk Music Creator 7
- Cakewalk Sonar 23
- Cockos Reaper 5
- Image Line FL Studio 12.5
- Internet ABILITY Pro 2.5
- LMMS 1.13
- MAGIX Samplitude Pro 13 / 14
- MAGIX Sequoia 13 / 14
- n-Track Studio 8 / 9
- Steinberg Cubase 8 / 8.5
- Steinberg Nuendo 7

We hope that this list can be useful to all those who are against planned obsolescence. :tu:

What is really not wise is that you keep saying that.

There's nothing unwise about using Steinberg, Ableton, Presonus and MOTU DAWs. These are all professional tools used by thousands of professionals everyday. Can't argue with that!

There are ways to use both 32/64 bit in all DAWs in this day and age, so drop that "choose wisely" talk already. It doesn't make you smart saying what you're saying. To the contrary, it looks dumb, unprofessional and unnecessary.

Respect your users regardless of what DAW they employ for their work. It doesn't make them less wise. Everyone is entitled to choose whatever environment they are comfortable to work in.

Period.

We regret the misunderstandings but even more the aggressions so here we go again (extended version explained):

Unfortunately, users of Ableton, Presonus and MOTU products will still not be able to use 32 and 64-bit plug-ins simultaneously natively, so they must choose wisely before installation: if they plan to use 32-bit plugins, they should not forget to install the 32-bit version of their beloved DAW.

Not possible because some included 3rd party code was discontinued, however T-C-M will be improved and updated from time to time for our loyal 32-bit users. :hail:
