Yes, there is portamento in poly modes, and you can glide chords etc, as well as individual notes within chords etc.Cochrane wrote:a little question on Juno 106 plugin: does it implement polyphonic portamento

The "Anthology 1990" page was removed last week before it was fully finished and is still not available.Ingonator wrote:Roland just added a page for the "Anthology 1990" but this is mostly emtpy at the moment:
https://www.rolandcloud.com/instruments ... ology-1990
Would be interesting to see if it is the JD-800, D-70 or another synth...
JD-800 would be great IMO even if it is only samples.
Will re-check the page later.
Anyway Roland just added the "Sound Canvas VA" to the Legendary collection at the Roland Cloud:
https://www.rolandcloud.com/instruments ... -canvas-va
This was already avaiable in the content store before the Roland Cloud started:
https://contentstore.roland.com/software/
Roland also added the R-Mix software:
https://www.rolandcloud.com/instruments ... -solutions
The new updates are part of "Roland Cloud 4.1":

Hm, Roland dusted off the old VariPhrase, eh? Now I'm interested. Could it be long before they release a V-Synth plug in?Ingonator wrote:Roland also added the R-Mix software:

I was just thinking exactly the same, about the only Roland synth I have any interest in....zerocrossing wrote:Hm, Roland dusted off the old VariPhrase, eh? Now I'm interested. Could it be long before they release a V-Synth plug in?Ingonator wrote:Roland also added the R-Mix software:

I have a V-Synth XT. I was very disappointed when I discovered that Roland didn't even made a software editor for it. I hope that, if they come up with a virtual V-Synth (but, for the examples we saw, I doubt about their capacity to come up with something manageable in terms of CPU) that it can be used also as a software editor for the hardware.SLiC wrote:I was just thinking exactly the same, about the only Roland synth I have any interest in....zerocrossing wrote:Hm, Roland dusted off the old VariPhrase, eh? 'R-Mix' has been out for years, its main use was supposed to be the ability to separate vocals and instruments from the mix (for making karaoke versions, instrumentals, acapellas, whatever). they have/had an iOS version as well. looks like it was a big flop and i think they discontinued sale of it some time ago.zerocrossing wrote:Hm, Roland dusted off the old VariPhrase, eh?
