Shouldn't this go in effects? Said VST not VSTi, even then I'm putting my money on an effect..

Sounds good to me - But does an acronym count as a word Steve?!
To be honest with you, as much as I love Serum, I found the on-board effects to be mostly disappointing. Only using them very rarely, most effect processing done afterwards. Still - my interest is piqued!

I guess, some kind of LFO/MSEG/bitcrusher/wovel filter combo to turn everything into a WUBWUBYAHOUIWUBWUB.
The world needs it.

Oh, that makes sense! I'd wondered why Serum hadn't seen any updates since August. That's no criticism though. It works just fine, and Steve is the single most active and engaged developer I know. There were bugfix updates as little as 2 days apart at times. New features constantly added, from fun things like PNG wavetable import to super useful things like an extra 4 (!) LFOs... Serum's state right now would be considered Serum 3.0 with a double round of upgrade fees to a lot of developers.
This new thing will be excellent and very well supported, I've no doubt.

Personally, I'd rather have a tool that turns everything into BRRRR-WUB-WUB-WUB-BRRRRRR-WUB-WUB with 32x over-sampling and granular somethings.recursive one wrote:I guess, some kind of LFO/MSEG/bitcrusher/wovel filter combo to turn everything into a WUBWUBYAHOUIWUBWUB.
