If you have a mouse wheel you can scroll the entire audio component list up and down. If not you have to close some above to get to the ones below.

It was never intended that you can have everything open at once.
A while back someone requested that the list can be scrolled up and down
with the mouse wheel and that was implemented.

OK, good news on Logic Pro validation.

Also, what exactly is happening?
Do they not show up at all in the list,
or are they just not changing?

I just tested it again and it is still working in Ableton.
I'm trying to automate a filter cutoff frequency, but all dials seem to behave in the same way.
I already sent you an email about this, thank you for the help :)

I don't use a mouse wheel.

It didn't work since at some point the only component clickable was the "Oscillator" ending up at the bottom's window/area and opening bellow the window/area.
This behaviour is due to the fact that I'm working with a tablet/pen set up.
So never mind, weird set up, have another way to scroll anyway.

Really great to finally have access to this powerful instrument! :phones:

Nordickvr, thanks.

Soldeh, I don't see any new emails, I thought I fixed everything so far in the existing emails.
Did you read the Quick Start guide on Host Automation?
It's really suppose to be easy, you just click on the name of the dial and it will highlight in white,
then the name of the dial shows up in the host, and at that point you can create any
host envelope you like inside the host and the dial will move inside Fathom in real time.

I just tried it now with cutoff frequency and it works great.
Are you saying it is broken in the Mac? Which DAW? Exact steps?

Most times I can fix stuff with a description, but in some scenarios users have had to make a capture videos to prove how it is broken.

Post

So can confirm both of my original problems have been fixed by the newest MacOS Beta.

The host automation, from all my testing, works exactly as it's described in the quick start guide. That's in Logic Pro X & Reason 9.5 on Sierra.

OK, Great news, thanks for reporting your progress.

The drawable LFO is going well and I'm shooting for a release at the end of this week.

If Mac beta testers report their status by around late Friday I will include the polyphonic Mac release.

Fathom Beta VST in Reaper on OSX 10.13 works for me overall but I have checked mixing internal and external modulations and found some issues:

- while having a running external modulation to some parameter the "Add Modulation" button flashes up when selecting a different parameter button but gets instantly deactivated. One needs to deactivate all external modulation to be able to configure internal modulations.

- internal modulations are not animated while external modulations are

- there are no last/next buttons besides the patchname to be able to step through patches

Soundwise all the different modulations and modulation configurations seem to work. I have not found any other issues so far.

Akeia, OK, I will retest the internal modulation and host automation interactions
and see if I can fix that for this next release.

Animating the internal mods will take more work but I will put that on the list.

Others also have asked for preset navigation forward and back buttons
so I will move that up the list in priority.

Seems pretty stable under OS X 10.11.6/Logic X 10.3.2 atm.

One request I'd add if not already asked/implemented is an init ADSR command.

Nice work!

Post

OK, Looks like the Mac Beta is stable so far.

So I will include the full polyphonic Mac OSX build in the next release.

Yes, the init ADSR command is a good idea, I will move that up the feature priority list.

Great to ear!

Q : Bought Fathom last May.
At this moment only the Windows version existed.
Is the code I received going to work with the Mac version?

Post

Good question, yes it will be the same code.

I worth next to null about business.
So many factors, just having a look at the numerous treads/discussions about that demonstrate how it isn't simple to target the right price.
I really wish you all the best for this powerful instrument.

Quick update. The new release will be out later tomorrow.
It will include the Mac OSX Polyphonic release,
and the new LFO Draw feature.

There will also be a small surprise on the LFO panel.
And a big surprise in the preset sound banks. :phones:

:)

Lots of good things to be thankful for!
