Just published a new screencast that demonstrates a very useful way to use Kameleono.

I wanted to test your new plugin on Win7 x64, but had to install a vcredist 2015, but this vcredist was not installed correct, so can't test it.

For what reason do I need to install a vcredist 2015, I don't know any VST(i) where I had to install a vcredist to work.

I think this not a kosher software or at least explain why to install this vcredist and which version in which language on Win7/8.1 x64.

Kameleono was written in C++ using Visual Studio.
I guess this is the reason it needs "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015" to be installed.

I'll check if there is a way to get rid from this dependency.
If possible' I'll remove this dependency on the next version of Kameleono.

Anyway, My suggestion to you is to remove any vcredist 2015 installation you currently have installed.
Then install vcredist 2017 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... -downloads). It should work.

If you still can't install Kameleono, please contact me at: support@midimood.com and I'll do my best to help.

midimood, I've dealt with this problem already. It's a compiler setting. Set it for your release versions.

Project --> Properties -->

Release / All Platforms --> C/C++ --> Code Generation --> Runtime Library: Multi-threaded

the problem is you have it set to DLL. You want the non-DLL version.

Do we need another vote for bluearp? If so here it is!

UI takes a bit of getting used to but the presets should get up and running quickly. usability I found on par with Cthulhu which has some functionality which is counter intuitive.

Shit, why dont you just enter the notes in yor daw?

I like Bluearp much more than Cthulhu

Thanks for the tip.
Version 1.1.3 is out. "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable" is no longer needed.

Any others not listed?

Catanya by 7Aliens was pretty cool, but it looks like 7Aliens products are no longer available for sale. It was originally 32-bit only but they did a 64-bit release in 2014. There are YouTube videos covering it...

Now it is much more intuitive to use Kameleono in Ableton Live thanks to the "pattern naming" template.
See example on this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUyQs6FOZIs

I keep an eye on Riff Generation

+1 for BlueArp and Cthulhu. They're both powerful and easy to use. I've also tried Kirnu Cream and Nora, but just couldn't get in to them for some reason.

Going to have to give Kameleono a try later tonight. =]

I have Cthulhu and it's a nice tool, but it can't play more than one note at the same time! Harmony page is not enough since the notes drawn here are not bound to the chord you're playing.
I really miss something like Cthulhu plus the sequencer in Kirnu Cream, which at this point I'm considering to buy.

Bluearp interface is hard to look at, and Nora seems to me almost like editing notes in the Daw.
