Yeah, kinda like "autoplay" function but connected to your brain.

2) Multitimbrality and multi-outs so you don't have to load another instance of the whole synth just so you can have a "whoosh" sound on that channel.
Cheers!

Eh? That's a universal requirement?
Like what DAW are you using that makes it a pain to copy paste a synth a couple times? I'm curious.

stereo amp, cab, mic, mic pre sim on the gui - obvious gap in the market and would put the synth way ahead of the usual gimped distortion reverb chain

HOnestly I'd like to see a convolver module on some of these so that you can use distortion and reverb impulses on algorithmic outputs.

That would be great really. Running on something like the Raspberry, just more powerful, integrated touchscreen with a simple VST host, lots of knobs... would be pretty costly though, i guess.
Good synths don't have a sweet spot. They ARE the sweet spot.

1. no installer, just a dll you put in plugins folder
2. no dongle, C/R, pace, copy protection BS. just a serial#
3. 32bit :D
4. older synths revisited (korg M1 WS, Surge) make larger GUI's

heres a good idea for a plugin. people would buy it up like crazy....
some kind of DLL wrapper that lets you resize the GUI on VSTis!
even one that simply doubles the res would be great! :D
HW SYNTHS [KORG T2EX - AKAI AX80 - YAMAHA SY77 - ENSONIQ VFX]
HW MODULES [OBi M1000 - ROLAND MKS-50 - ROLAND JV880 - KURZ 1000PX]
SW [CHARLATAN - OBXD - OXE - ELEKTRO - MICROTERA - M1 - SURGE - RMiV]
DAW [ENERGY XT2/1U RACK WINXP / MAUDIO 1010LT PCI]

I want every synth to have the Massive style way of favoriting a sound that ends up in an easily accessible favorites folder. Some synths make it brutal to get your fave presets in one location.
Even I was offended by what I was going to put here.

Amen!

In the meantime, for people on Windows: type "magnifier" into the start menu. It's part of the accessibility tools, and it helps a ton with tiny GUIs.
