not sure if this one has been mentioned before, but this is 100% repeatable as far as i know... if I click on the settings cog, thereby bringing up the settings menu, then close the GUI with the settings menu opened, I get a crash every time. Too often i forget to click somewhere on the GUI to close the menu before closing the plugin, it's a real pisser that one.
OSX10.9.5, currently I'm on Thorn 1.0.5.

Patient: Doctor, my head hurts when I knock it against the wall.
Doctor: Don't knock it against the wall.

I just tried it, and yes it did crash my Sonar X3 Producer DAW.sqigls wrote:not sure if this one has been mentioned before, but this is 100% repeatable as far as i know... if I click on the settings cog, thereby bringing up the settings menu, then close the GUI with the settings menu opened, I get a crash every time. Huzzah, a feature-limited version of Thorn is coming to BEAT/Computer Music magazine soon, or so Dmitry Says (play on words very much intended) in his latest newsletter.

Why not share the Presets via KVR-Upload. I've only recently learnt myself about this option. Here's my presets, for instance. I think you could add yours as well. I think KVR will even index your presets, it will help users to find them...PietW. wrote:47 OSC Presets for Thorn.
Have Fun.

Just downloaded the demo this evening - WOW!
What a great synth! It is pretty easy to get good sounds out of it and it suits my Electronica/Idm/Ambient music perfectly. It's really something different from my other synths and I love how easy it is to get crispy digital and glitchy textures
I put up a want to buy post in the KVR Sell & Buy forum.

Just featured it on my submission for the "Mono Beat Challenge" at Indaba: https://soundcloud.com/progtronic/glitch-ninja
Also includes some Diversion and Tantra tweakage. Sugar Bytes; Factory and Cyclop make an appearance as well.

Love it - it shows how much depth you can gain if there is a limitation...

i've noticed a problem with Thorn (noticed in 1.0.5 and 1.0.6). When i have automation on the Cutoff in Live (9.7.5 or 10.0.1) it will first play the last used Cutoff frequency, but then slowly adapt to the actual frequency used in the automation.
Is this know or is this even a feature (i could turn off?)
