Granulizer is definitly a true soundscape and drone generator! :hyper:

Here's 5 quick examples I did while experimenting.

100% Granulizer here, with only a reverb added. No other effects.

First encounter, live on video using one of my soundscape samples, this plug-in could use an LFO or two, also controls for randomization of grain length and grain position would be cool, the Magic-knob also seems to introduce a little randomization of grain pitch as well as grain position/pan position, a dedicated control for randomizing grain pitch would be cool. The sound quality is good, so are frequency shifter and dimension FX section.

And of course a pitch transpose function or a mapper window would be good, so that one can set the correct root note for a give sample, as it is now, C3 plays back the original root note and there is no way to change that.

Automation in Logic doesn't work, I can see the parameters in the list, but moving the knobs while recording automation does nothing. Assigning an external Midi controller to a given parameter is a work around or drawing the automation with the mouse.

But it does work with Logic's Smart Controls which are assigned by default to 8 parameters of the parameter list.

Hi Simon,
Here's a workaround re : Logic X Automation.
One can use the Modifier (AU Midi FX).
First Learn MIDI (Input Event), then Learn Plug-in Parameter (Re-Assign To).
For the latter to work, the instrument's View Editor (here Granulizer) Controls option must be ticked/chosen (instead if I.S.S Granulizer).
That must be done for each CCs - Parameter.

Very nice Instrument! Are you thinking to make also a live "effect" version of the plug-in, instead of an "instrument"? I mean, a version in which the input is a given portion of the incoming live audio/audiotrack instead of a sample you have to load in advance?
I think that this would be really very, very interesting.
