Postby braj; Wed Dec 06, 2017 12:50 am Any chance Lush101 will get a makeover?

Honestly, the only thing I am really missing is some way to do autopanning of synths, like an LFO that can modulate the mixer or something, but that can be done by using individual outs, so it isn't impossible, just not as part of a patch. But I don't see the D16 group really evolving their products, so I was just wondering if I should not expect that to happen. It would be great if they took a cue from TAL and had a couple different skin colors to choose from too, but that isn't terribly important. Anyhow, it is one of my favorites now, so I am just thinking of its future.

D16 updating their products, but not as quickly as we would like. I'm really looking forward to the updates LuSH-101, but I don't think it will happen in the near future. I really hope that they make it more comfortable automation of parameters and adds the sequencer. That's what I miss in this wonderful synth

D16 answered me that they're going to updated LuSH-101 GUI (among other VST), but that didn't happen over last year :(

How is the cpu usage these days?
None are so hopeless enslaved as KVRians with GAS.

Certainly high, but LuSH can nicely utilize 16 threads of my processor.

CPU use on my old 3770 i7 is totally acceptable. I've only had it for a few weeks or so, so I don't know if it is improved over older builds. It's a really nice compliment to Repro synths for me, my two favorite sorts of synths. I use both together on a five year old computer, so that is something :)

Hi,

Thanks for confirming. The problem affects 64bit version only and occurs when project with 5 or more instances is recalled, but manifests differently in each case. Mostly by not refreshing some controls' values when project is loaded up. The source of this issue lays in the third party programming framework we use - just updating it should resolve this issue. Unfortunately each time we update the framework we need to catch up with our code to make it suitable. As we've been releasing new plug-ins and updates since publication of the most recent version of LuSH-101 it's become impossible to catch up with the most current version of the third party framework we utilize now days to just release new update of LuSH-101 that would just be a hotfix. I'm afraid the problem will be fixed along with the LuSH 2.0 release, not before. I'm very sorry. FYI: we won't be updating LuSH-101 1.x anymore and all the new features and fixes are planned to be done with version 2.0, so the next version will be the next gen LuSH.

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Ah thanks. He didn't happen to mention when 2.0 is expected?

I thought it was pretty complete as is. As far as the CPU, remember its 8 synths. If you layer 8 of any quality VA synth is gonna get a bit hungry.
