I do think U-he is taunting me with Diva again. I owned it but sold it, now I regret it. I just downloaded the demo, and even though it is significantly more expensive, if I miss The Legend on a steep discount sale, Diva seems more for my money. Feel free to convince me otherwise though

Diva is not as expensive if you discount the money you'd have spent on The Legend Diva is a much more interesting proposition, to me. So, unless your going all Pokemon on synths, why not wait to get the one you really wantbraj wrote:I do think U-he is taunting me with Diva again. I owned it but sold it, now I regret it. Yeah, I think I'm just giving myself GAS I should just put away the demos and make use of what I already have until funds magically appear. I should try and get a new video card first, that is what I really need, just it isn't quite so satisfying as buttery Moog filters.

Tonight I've been reverse engineering some Legend sounds in Synthmaster One, with pretty good success. Not exactly the same, but definitely it sounds like a Moog. That is working like tums for my gas

I do a similar-ish thing. Whenever I get gas I go back to Omnisphere, and just play for a while. While I don't reverse-engineer (then recreate) presets, nor claim that Omnisphere always beats what I am gas-sing for, I normally conclude that I really have all I'll ever need. It's not the only thing I own, but i run a very tight ship - A light dash of extra synths for a different perspective, and I'm set.braj wrote:Tonight I've been reverse engineering some Legend sounds in Synthmaster One, with pretty good success. I know that people often berate Omnisphere for it's price, but it has honestly saved me so much money

I think Omnisphere is definitely worth it to the many people that use it professionally. It is still way cheaper than comparable hardware.

I'm not a professional. If you were ever in any doubt, just check out my reverb collectionbraj wrote:I think Omnisphere is definitely worth it to the many people that use it professionally.
