i believe they've mentioned planning this initially for the ipad (!), which explains the smaller GUI. but seems fine here (13" macbook pro), at least: no clutter...

My thoughts: it feels incomplete. I love almost everything about the concept, much the same as Factory, very much a toy you want to play with, but seems only focused on very specific effects, and doesn't deliver in terms of the full range of possible creative potential. So, if this had multiple forms of synthesis, including sampling or resynthesis, and a resizable GUI, then I'd probably rave about it. But for now, it's a toy to play with, and then discard.

have you played with the demo? it sounds great, and am having a blast exploring it; already used it in a project (replacing 2 other plugins that i live & die by). anyway, maybe not for you, but hardly a toy (just toy-like)...

Beautiful Gorgeous Sounds.....it's Forte is of course Cinematic and Organic Sounds, but even Basic use Sounds has so much Organic Life added to em.....

and it has hands down one of the most Creative Arp and Modulation Features ever in a Synth...

Seems highly unusual and impressive, but I suppose I would spend a lot of time just playing around rather than making music. A bit like Synplant -- interesting, but maybe not as musical as much simpler synths.
(Not a good video, that guy keeps talking and talking and never lets you actually hear what he's doing.)

Great sounds, fantastic GUI (layout, size, colors, graphics, everything), and decent price. While I don't have the money for it right now as I just purchased a Minilogue, Aparillo is going on my "want it) list. Nice job as usual, Sugar Bytes.

This synth is simply AMAZING!

What a little marvel. I think that ORBIT page is a work of art. The icons are so beautiful, the interaction is addictive!

It seems very simple to use but with enough options to make very deep and intricate sounds...but make them almost intuitively which is probably a first for an FM synth! It also seems to be very 'musical' in that extreme parameter ranges do not produce harsh sounds, which I would expect to come out of certain maxed out values in an FM synth...

Lovely FX too, with a fab sounding reverb!
