The new plug-in SE PolyMod KX is open and you can learn and modify it with the modular software Synthedit:
http://www.synthedit.com/members/
If you are a Mac user your welcome to help to debug the AU version. To built the AU version simply you save as with the last SE 1.3255 and you go to your current windows documents, the AU will be inside the Synthedit projects folder, in Mac export folder.

Kx Modulad:
Fixed bug: possible overload of FX filters when initialization on Cubase with a loaded SoundFont bank.

SE PolyMod KX:
- New oversampling features: VST up to x4 and VCO1 x8, less CPU use.
AU version (alpha): new zip (SE 1.3255)
- Done for the current tests.
x86 Win VST (beta): new zip (SE 1.3255)
- Some graphic elements do not work on Vista (Scope, leds, ...) following your host program.
x64 Win VST (beta): new zip (SE 1.4078)
- Built with SE 1.4 to use the new internal management of the presets, it is stable I used it for my last track.

To operate on Windows the SE Polymod KX plug-in requires MicroSoft files called the "Visual C ++ Redistributable Package". These need to be installed only once on each PC that uses this plug-in.
Link to get the 2015 version (the 2017 version is compatible, check your already installed packages).

31/12/2017 - New plug-in - SE PolyMod KX (open se1 - VST3 - VST2 - AU - VST2 x86)

One track added: "Electronic Music Immersion - Part 3 - Border line in grey sky", Cubase session in 48k, 21 instances of x64 VST3, 27 min, encoded in WMA 24 bit/48k.

I played this track when I debugged my x64 instruments and also to test a new plug-in, SE PolyMod KX. I'm building this one to help the SE community to debug SE 1.3 with a synthesizer similar of my actual PolyMod but to simplify all and to export it in APPLE format (AU) this plug-in uses only the original SE SEM* provided with SynthEdit (oscillator, filters, adsr...). I provide also its SE1 file and its skin elements (see its license) by this way that will be more easy to debug the last SE 1.3 and SE 1.4. This plug-in is polyphonic but as its internal sample rate is oversampled and all of its 104 presets are monophonic by default.

*This plug-in is available for OSX but I have not any APPLE PC to test it, I just exported this one in AU format with the last SE 1.4. To compile SEM for OSX an APPLE computer is necessary. You're welcome to help us to debug SE AU plug-ins...

Encoded in 24 bit with WMA pro codec (compatible with VLC)

I contacted some SE devs to start the tests on MAC, so all will be done step by step...
The actual AU provided in the zip is unstable so I will update it then the first tests will be finished.
I exported this one with SE 1.4 and its AU "Save as" is an alpha feature. I will probably regress to the 1.3 for the news tests.

Bonjour Xavier!

I have been auditing recently many plugins and can say that your CSE and X16 absolutely sound wonderful!! They are some the best sounding of all the VA plugins I tried and believe they do sound close to the originals too!

 Ok just tell me if my work is BS and I will stop all and I'm going to the dark web... :D
I registred the plug-in in the KVR data base for more visibility.
On KVR there are a lot people who like to kill SE but Jeff did an hard work to update SE and finally I do not read something positive about...

I think the work you do is great, you code everything yourself. You also test / try a lot to improve Synthedit.
Keep it up!

I built the Kx Synth x16 waveforms with my KxWaveTracer (provided with the x86 version of Kx Modulad ... KVR DC 2007). It was an hard work, I added the harmonics (level and phase) each one manually and created multi waveforms files for each shape (32 bit float values, 1600 harmonics for 13.75 hz).
I used the Scot Solida's recordings, it's VCS3 was not really clean, it's possible that I reproduced these defaults!
But you can replace the Synthi Waveforms by other ones which are provided with my other products. Only me did this work, the others VA use classic BLT waveforms!
It's the same for the VCS3 filter, I worked on it one month with clean VCS3 filter recordings from BLT member of Synthé Modulaire french forum. I did all with my hears and an analyser, its resonance can auto oscillate to <20 hz, it's tuned (VCS3) or detuned (Synthi). you can choose even and odd harmonics for the filter saturation.

Enjoying KX polymod. Very silky. Will definitely play around with it more.

I admire your endurance and motivation in a world where most people ignore SE-based plugins...

It is none of my business, but I think your name - KX77FREE - is very unfortunate. First because it is hard to memorize and more importantly because many people associate the word free with low value/poor quality...
