Problems with Synth1 V1.13beta8 on the Apple Mac

Hello, I've just installed Synth1 along with some presets and it sounds pretty good to me. I also downloaded Per Christian Frankplads mighty collection of different patches from http://veryrandomstreams.blogspot.com/2 ... -free.html. As instructed I copied this zip file into a folder called Zipbank and set the appropriate fields in the Opt settings. The problem is that Synth1 is not using that entered information to read the zip files, and indeed when one goes back into the Opt settings, one finds that the previously entered Zipbank folder is missing.

Am I doing something wrong, or, as I suspect, is there a bug in this particular version on the Mac?

I realise that I could unzip all of the 173 zip files and choose about 90 of them to assign to soundbank10 to soundbank99. The obvious problem would then be which to choose and which to leave out! Aaarrgh!
