I am working on a MIDI file i have converted from a .MOD
however the CS2X will not assign XG patchbanks to the instruments i want to use.
It is only playing with the GM banks.
I do not have this problem with the XV-2020.
I am using Cubase SX2 & SONAR4. Both sequencers have the correctly assigned instrument sets assigned to the MIDI devices. So i cant for the life of me understand why i cant change the program messages to the XG ones.
does anyone have any advice?
