DrumSam is a vst-drumsampler with 7 sample slots. Each sampleslot has a fine tune, a pitchshift, a volume knob and an ADSR envelope. This one is the beta version of Drumsam. DrumSam was created with SynthEdit. Please report me any problems or bugs.

Hi sola
well if you want my opinion.....
:try to put something special in this little thing!!
caus' there are drum---or other vst samplers....a lot of it!
:gui looking quite fine.. very simple at the moment!
:I tested it very shortly and couldnt find a major error.

it's called chromatic.
a complete NO NO for drum mapping,
the author should make it GM mapped, with the option for the user to change it.

SynthEdit plug-ins could be really more cpu friendly. I reduced as much as possilble and I get still 2 till 6% cpu usage now with my amd 2000xp but drumrack in Orion Platinum for example uses just 1 till 2%. That is bugging me in the moment.
DrumSam should be a simple drumplayer with low cpu-usage and therefor I would not put to much modules in it but a few more knobs for more adjustment would be ok.
First I used the drumtrigger module and now I made a midi split off by myself with midi filters and some midi to cv. The thing is that I am used to play the standard drum mapping where c is for the kick, c# for the rim, d for the snare and so on but only white keys would be not bad too. It is possible to make it assignable for the user.

Here is the new beta version 0.93 of drumsam. The cpu usage is improved, there is a highpass filter and a saturation built in for each track. If the shape button is on the whole left than it is off and when you turn it to the right it is on and you can turn it up to 9 stages. Some samples sound fine when you adjust the HP knob and add a little saturation. The keymap is semi chromatic now.
Here is a picture of drumsam beta v0.93.
