It might be fairer on Liqih to start a new thread if you want to refer to other chime/bell/gong vsts.. There was this one as well already in instruments, and most of the alternatives were covered in that..

Otherwise an interesting take on the idea Liqih, I feel that there is a definite gap for vsti's that produce spot effects types of sounds

BTW listening to bels.mp3 I do hear some nice metalics, but sounds to me more like detuned strings than bells or plates, correct?

Yes, the strings do creep in occasionally, I'm only 'modelling' the overtones. The various fundementals and harmonics are derived with oscillators and ring modulation (proper ring mod, not amp mod). Its designed as a bell tonemaker but this approach means it can be coaxed into all sorts of un-natural stuff as well..

it's an interesting approach,

my little BellTime synth uses a 2D mesh of delays,
the problem is CPU usage which raises exponentially with the size of the mesh
