Maybe its just me, but...

What was NI thinking with their site redesign?

IMO, it is a big step backward in terms of usability and functionality. It feels almost user-hostile. And why the hell did they use Flash so intensively? Absolutely no need. It could have been spruced up using CSS and web standards only.

I spent 15 minutes trying to find demo download (let alone a search engine) then gave up. Poor design...

I like some of the features -- when you 'sign-in,' you see related items (based on products you registered) -- including any updates, etc. There is an option under "user preferences" to select "No Flash Plug-in," perhaps that will give you pages without flash.

I actually like it.. Easier to get to the most popular visisted places like the forums and the user library..

Oh yeah, it's great, that's why there's no hotlinks between them anymore..

I f**king hate it, myself..Looks ok, but when you login all kinds of f**ked up shit happens, you find yourself in a different library page, seacrhing doesn't work past page one, my account doesn't login half the time, and now the entire f**king site is down..

Personally, I'm so impressed that anyone could turn a VIC-20 with 300 baud modem into a Web server, I'll withhold judgement on the rest.
