This is very nice actually - thanks. Is it the same as the paid version or a reduced features version?

I like the synth, i used it in my last track, but i had to render it first, cos eveytime i tried to record automation it crashed.

He doent seem keen to find out what the problem is, hasnt asked one question

fair enough.I take back the horn question.

I suppose it's a matter of different ways of working
as a rule I render to audio in orion when things get crowded.
There are alot of things about orion I like, but i'll be the first to admit it doesn't stand up to the cpu pressure very well.
Out of curiosity I recorded several takes of automation and still couldn't get ultrasonique to crash, but then I didn't have other generators working at the same time.

Maybe someone else with orion can duplicate the problem

you wouldn't by any chance be using the newer version of orion the rest of us haven't gotten our mitts on yet would you?
maybe the problem lies there?

at any rate I like the EVM synths because they offer something a bit different at a very reasonable price
and look forward to upcoming creations.
perhaps the ones he's working on without the aid of SE will be even better.

Im using an Athlon XP3000+, so CPU isnt a problem really, and the beta of OP im using has been SSE optimised, so it 20-30% faster than it was.

Someone also mentioned in this thread they were getting crashes in FL.

I had other native synths running when i used it, and i was recording automation on those, but kept crashing. It also crashed during normal playback. Soon as i deleted EVM, no crashes, so i can only assume that was the prob, and a strange one at that. :?

:uhuhuh: You forgot Moebius! :smack:
"Preamps have literally one job: when you turn up the gain, it gets louder." Jamcat, talking about presmp-emulation plugins.

Post

2nd crash changing presets..

note: these are both crashes I have recieved in OPlat using just about any generator..OPlat's rule of thumb is basically don't even bother resizing a window while transport's running unless you wanna go splat..

Post

running 3 in OPlat with no problems. yet.
resizing windows has always given a hiccup, but no crash here.
yet.

 Big Thanks to Etric! for free EVM Ultrasonique

I got around to giving this nice looking package a try last night, and ended up blowing away several hours in enjoyment. :D

The patches that come with it are pretty impressive and the gate adds so much to alot of them. :)

Really enjoyed the full, sweet, and robust sounds to be found in Ultrasonique.

Very well done. :!:
