i remember finding on the albino product page last year a reminder that albino will be discontinued after 30 april 2014 - when i want to buy albino now?

is there a way to still buy and get a discount or what will happen with albino?

so far i havnt found a replace after testing the demo ...

any ideas?

dont really like Predator and plus it is nothing like Albino with all the layers and all the waveforms.

I am so glad Linplug comes with Spectral there - it more like Albino 4 ftw.

Albino is discontinued since 31st December 2012, we however support it until end of April 2014 at least. When we got Spectral released we're also checking what other products need an update and - though I'm not sure - it very much looks as if we release a bugfix update of Albino early 2014.

Nice to hear that there will be additional updates for Albino 3.

Albino 2 was my first softsynth back in 2005 and Albino 3 is still a great synth IMO.

Tbh I don't see how Spectral or any other synth could really replace Albino. While Spectral is very nice it is totally different IMO. Same about e.g. Predator.

Well, I certainly hope a bugfix update for Albino 3 that fixes the "silk" filter panning bug.

Albino is still one of my favorite synths.

Predator never enticed me.
Very impressed with Spectral (playing with demo).

Just changed my notebook to Windows 7 64-bit (32-bit before) and installed both Albino 3 (v3.20) and Spectral as 64-bit versions. so far both seem to run nicely.

Just interested to find out if the Albino Sound sets (on the LinPlug website) have also been discontinued?

Still love Albino, works great on 32 and 64 bit for me!!

Well, lets say so ... Soundsets are officially discontinued, if you now what you want and have paypal I can sell them directly (all legal, with invoice) no problem, we not have them listed anymore (demand was low after Albino itself was discontinued).

I'd like to hear the demo for Yemski soundset one more time though - is it still possible to listen them somewhere, or at least download the MP3s?
