I know how to make about 70% of that sound. Still trying to figure out how to make the rest

It's from Sylenth
• Two or three sawtooths
• Detune both saw's about 40%
• AMP Envelope pitch modulation with small envelopes
• Add some distortion with your DAW
• High pass filter

I will upload a sylenth preset tonight when im home

Wow . Really good job Karl. I would be interested in how you did it. Sounds like two sylenths layered, detune, nice work on the reverb ( did you use it on the channel or a send bus ? )

Yes there is a bus for the reverb (from ableton), this is 2 sylenth1 layered (saw) with some detune.
Some distortion (from ableton too) and a tight sidechain compression.
but I think there is still something missing in my sound...
Unfortunately it is maybe because the showtek duo work a lot with a virus TI which seems to be an awesome synth !

I guess Virus TI is that desktop unit and not a purchasable plugin VSTi ? 1000 EURO is a little out of my budget, so I found a few VSTi plugins that claim they are virus TI but they look a little different. I'm assuming it's someone who replicated it

There is a plugin who comes With the access virus ti (which is a hardware synth) that you can use in your DAW.

This is the one I was able to get working on Ableton without hardware

That's vanguard, an other plug in ! From reFX (same brand as Nexus)
Here is the link of the plug in from Access the manufacturer of the "Virus TI" !
The plug in from access only work with the hardware synth plugged in I think !
