How to make that sound...

Well, there are people who make music and the people who buy music. Buying it doesn't make you an artist or star, however :P

Just a note: no one in this board, which gathers a lot of experienced producers, is interested in that particular sample or willing to recreate one. What does it tell you?

The reverse crash sample is called "wafx_uplifter_delaycrash" from Wave Alchemy SFX Collection Vol. 1 -> Uplifters

Confirmed - and a hell of a good spot juonne!

As for this thread, there are a lot of people who don't like Avicii - and particularly because of his previous well-documented thieving / pirating issues.
But I can certainly understand one of his fans wishing to copy his sound in detail when they are first starting off - and even more so because Avicii is highly popular in the club charts currently.

It is logical to more experienced musicians not to imitate another person's style right down to a reversed crash cymbal (which is very easily created, or bought as a sample from Wave Alchemy etc), but how many of you as beginners wanted to copy some small sound that one of your heroes used?

@merlijn1998 - now that we know it is a Wave Alchemy sample, it would be best to remove those links from this thread (as otherwise you are in breach of copyright / piracy issues).

Buy the samples from here legally (they are excellent):
