I need help trying to make drops similar to tracks like these:

Everytime I hear these Tribal like songs it just completely blows my mind. The tracks seem so simple but powerful. I watched the Tom Staar in the studio with Future Music Mag. which kinda helped but I need more help making those percussion type sounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated
