Responsibilities:
The role involves creating cutting-edge sounds to exacting briefs, while liaising with our creative director regularly throughout the process.
Creation of sounds from scratch concentrating mostly on sounds for Film Music (electronic, organic, acoustic, hybrids, synth-presets, soundscapes, pads, loops, rhythmic loops, pulses, beats etc.)
Your Profile:
you have your own Studio to work from
you are based in Los Angeles, CA (Attendance to client- and/or project meetings is required. Corporate and project meetings will be held either in the El Segundo office or via video conference)
Strict deadlines excite you
You have experience with professional recording, sound/synth/ambient programming, musical sound design, music production and the international music market
You are confident dealing with samples and sample editing at high level of detail
You have some knowledge of Native Instruments - KONTAKT
You have strong synthesis and sound design skills
You can work across a broad musical spectrum with concentration in Film Music - ideally with mastery of an instrument
You have deep and broad knowledge of the sound library and studio effect product market (E.g. variety of popular synths and samplers )
You have experience in the area of computer-based music-production and sound design as well as dealing with Mac (OS-X) or PC (Windows)
You pride yourself on your solid communication skills, are a self-starter, highly organized and reliable
Having studied or trained in the field of music, musicology or audio engineering is a plus
You have personal transportation (this is a must have)

Base salary of 2000-4000$ per month (based on experience)
