Hi guys! i'm new to this forum.Great work! Can you help me in building the bass sounds of these two tracks:

this is the second, which starts right at the beginning of the song.I already caught this one with the polysix vst, saturation and eq,but any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Big fan of Mitch Murder :)

As a starting point, I would look at the slap/funk bass presets available in FM8, Massive, and Sylenth1, and also look at adding some multi and compression to lift the sub-lows and sparkle-highs a little too.

By the way,Mitch Murder rules!!

by the way,i am a slap bass player and was also trying to obtain that sound by putting some fx right on the electric bass...that would be awesome too

you know, a real slap bass that sounds like a synthy slap bass...anyway,i'm still trying to get those synthy part basics :D

Regarding the first, I have a somewhat similar Sylenth bass patch, made it because I also like the 80s a lot :) To me it sounds like a cucumber, thus the odd name of my patch ^^
I hope it helps you, maybe you will have to increase the overall level, depending on your DAW...

I guess what one needs to do is use multiple, free-running, slightly detuned waves. It sounds better with pulse than with saw, but Sylenth has that screwed-up pulse implementation, which makes using free-running osc's with pulse impossible...
The illusion of punch comes from the short noise attack.
Since the envelopes and filter settings for pulse/saw and noise are different, a synth with multiple synth lines helps a lot.
