If I use a filter envelope with resonance or a pitch envelope to emphasize or create a percussion hit, what is the difference in sounding? if I use them, I can create similar sounds. So when should I use which of both or even mix them? I have huge problems to decide.

whatever sounds better to you, there are no rules in making music! :)

a filter envelope with resonance cuts frequencys and boosting some near the the cut, the fundamental tone/base note) basically remains the same.
you also can do this with an eq it would look like this https://www.propellerheads.se/substance ... nt-LPF.png

changing pitch is basically playing another note, shifting all frequencies, drums can sound very weird, if you go too far from the initial pitch, but it can be used to make toms sound like a taiko or timpani. actually changing pitch on toms is pretty cool for drum rolls with toms if you dont have enough samples to play the notes you want.

a pitch envelope sounds more like a tom drum or a bass drum. Also, just using a pitch envelope will sound more like a typical electronic drum. A filter can add snap, but it is hard to make a deep drum sound with only a filter envelope, IMO. Type both and experiment to see what you like. I've been doing some tutorials on synthesizing drums and I go over some of this in my first video. You can hear how they change the sound.

Well the difference is, in case of a lowpassfilter after the envelope the sound is dark because it's filtered. After a pitch env it's still the same sound color.
