first off - thanks alot, larsby, for your work - ive been checking out your plugins the past couple days and they all seem real nice.

im having a problem with sqakattack though. on ableton live (the only vst compatible thing on my powerbook), im not sure how to get it working. in your manual you say to set it up for receiving midi and audio signals. . should this be placed as an effect after an instrument? or in a send. . ?

any help would be appreciated. thanks again.

Ok.it might be a bit difficult to explain really. I have or think I have a exampel setup of it somewhre on the site, but as I am at work I cant really show find it :)

anyways here is how you do it.

1 add sqakattack to a track with audio on it
2 create a new midi track
3 use the little (i/o) marker to get the extra info on your tracks in clip view
4 change midioutput from that track to the track with sqakattack on
5 play some midi notes
6 enjoy

hope that helps

hmm - thanks for the reply but its still not doing it for me..

i have:

-an audio track with squakattack in it and an audio clip
- a midi track with a synth in it and midi clip
- the i/o's showing, but its impossible to route midi info to an audio track.

i also tried it with sqak on a return track - taking audio from both an audio and midi track. . and with sqak on the midi track after the instrument. . no cigars.

am i missing something obvious or being dumb? it sounds great in your youtube vid - would love to get it working!

remove the midi synth from the midi track.
then it will work.

and killersmooth soul vocals. . thanks.

It's not a synth, that's why it does not show up as an instrument :)

Yeah, I'm very proud of my singing skills :)
