Hi i just picked up a Korg Prophecy Second hand- its a beast-
its the best analogue emulation ive hear and other sounds are cool- nice real time controls etc

Like many 90's synths most of the websites relating to it seem to be dead now-

just wondering if any nice people here have an editor or patches for one lying around - i have seen a few online but you have to buy them also had a look around the korg forum to no avail

I got a Korg Z1 last year and did a similar search. I found a really nice editor for the Z1, which was really cheap ($19) and came with a huge boatload of patches. But I also searched the net and found some Prophecy patches and a tool to convert them to Z1 patches (ProZee).

PM me your email-address and I'll send you what I've got.
music // twolegs // geometriae
sounddesign // twolegstoneworks

Yeah, for 90s it could have been "the best". Time to check out John Bowen Solaris for the best virtual analog currently. :)

Could you provide more info on that Z1 editor? I've been getting back into programming the Z1 and an editor would be a nice thing. $19 is a great price.
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

It's not bad- I picked it up when I picked up a Z1 a couple months ago.

The link for those patches is dead. Any chance you might upload them again? Thanks

Sorry to revive, but you can find those patches here:

https://web.archive.org/web/20110830214 ... CY%20DISK/ (https://web.archive.org/web/20110830214750/http://d.marque.free.fr:80/PROPHECY%20DISK/)

(and since I have too few posts yet to post links, here is how to find the patches: put the above marue.free.fr-URL in The WaybackMachine (at archive.org), and jump to 2011-08-30 (or before, I guess))
